Our Mission Statement

The Torah Gemach was established by the JS Charity Group to assist organizations and communities that are in the beginning stages and unable to afford a torah of their own. In addition, there are times in the year when a synagogue or a family may need an additional Torah.

With this in mind, the Torah Gemach has restored nine torah scrolls and are ready to assist any community in the United States. The torahs are available for short and long term loans.

JS Charity Group has expanded it's outreach capacity by starting a Tefillin Gemach.

The aim of Tefillin Gemach is to subsidize tefillin so that every man or boy can do the grteat mitzvah on a daily basis.

We invite you participate in the eternal mitzvah that has united the Jewish People across time, continents and generations.
